Granada Earthenware Big Bowl

Gorgeous lebrillo (old fashioned word for bowl) from Fajalauza earthenware artisans in Granada. The usual decoration of Fajalauza is blue or green agricultural motifs on white background. In this case we have the most iconic motif of all, the pomegranate which in Spanish means Granada and it is the symbol of the town itself.

This bowl dates back to the 19th century as it can be appreciated by its imperfections that just provide even more character to this stunning piece.
